Ricoh releases Theta S 360-degree handheld camera
A premium successor to the popular Theta camera of Ricoh has finally reached the Indian shores. The camera comes with dual 1/2.3-inch sensors (f/2.0 aperture size), so customers can expect decent performance. When both sensors are combined, the Ricoh Theta S is capable of capturing images and videos up to 14MP quality.

Priced at '39,995, the camera is available in Amazon as well as select Ricoh sellers in the country. Given the cost of the camera, Ricoh is allowing customers pay '7,199 initially as a pre-booking amount while the rest of the balance can be paid later. To enhance user experience, Ricoh also has a companion app called 'Theta' for Android and iOS. It lets you to use your mobile device as a remote for the camera. There's a photo editing software called Theta+, giving you the ability to edit content on the go.

The only downside with the Theta S is that it comes with 8GB of internal storage and no card slot. So customers have to make do with the onboard storage to satisfy their camera needs.
