BENGALURU: Musician Ricky Kej, who won the Grammy for his album ' Winds of Samsara' last year, will re-kindle his tryst with the global music awards this year. The 34 year-old has composed, produced and mixed the opening song of South-African musician Wouter Kellerman's album 'Love Language' that has been nominated in the 2015 Grammy Awards in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category.

"The song, called 'Aishwarya' is a musical piece i wrote about empowerment through education for the girl child," Kej said, adding that the song was created with participation from over 150 live musicians, including Chicago Sympony choir, The Nashville Horns and Cochin String Section.

Expressing his excitement over being part of an album that is receiving international recognition, Kej said, "I will be attending the Grammys this year and walking the red carpet." The awards will take place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles in February 15, 2016.
