RFK Jr. faces damaging allegations in newly unearthed recordings: Scandal, betrayal, and a Senate showdown
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services faces turbulence due to newly surfaced recordings of him blaming his late ex-wife, Mary Richardson, for his infidelity. The tapes reveal a troubled past, including a bit...

The revelations come at a critical time for Kennedy, who has been a controversial figure for years due to his outspoken views on vaccines and public health. But this time, it’s not his political stance making headlines—it’s his past.
Kennedy and Richardson married in 1994, shortly after his divorce from his first wife, Emily Black. However, their seemingly picture-perfect union took a dark turn when Richardson discovered Kennedy’s private "sex diary," in which he allegedly detailed affairs with at least 37 women. Their marriage crumbled, leading to a bitter divorce in 2011.
During this period, Kennedy secretly recorded conversations with Richardson. In one such recording, she confronted him about his decade-long pattern of infidelity. His response was shocking:
"I want to be in a monogamous relationship. I don’t want to be in a polygamous relationship. I think that’s wrong," Kennedy said.
"But then why have you done it for 10 years?" Richardson asked.
The tapes suggest that instead of taking responsibility, Kennedy justified his serial infidelity by blaming his wife.
A Legal War That Never Reached the Courtroom
The couple’s divorce battle was vicious. Kennedy reportedly filed a 60-page affidavit accusing Richardson of excessive drinking, violent outbursts, and even physical abuse. In response, Richardson prepared a scathing rebuttal, calling Kennedy a "sexual deviant" and a "sex addict" who waged a "scorched earth" campaign against her.Tragically, she never got the chance to file her response. In May 2012, Richardson was found dead by suicide, hanging in her home at the age of 52.
Her accusations go beyond his personal life—she denounced his political hypocrisy, particularly on vaccines. While Kennedy has built a following opposing childhood vaccinations, Caroline claims he secretly vaccinated his own children.
A Senate Battle Ahead
As Kennedy fights for his political future, these revelations add to his mounting troubles. With a history of scandal, betrayal, and now public condemnation from his own family, his road to confirmation looks increasingly uncertain. For a man seeking one of the highest health offices in the nation, the question now is: will the Senate see through the politics and judge him on his past? Or will these tapes and testimonies prove to be his ultimate downfall?
