ReplyASAP: The dad app forces a child to reply to his messages
What on earth is that?
Ever had your text ignored or had to wait for eternity for a reply?

How does that matter here?
A dad has come up with a way to make sure his child responds to his messages as soon as possible. Called ReplyASAP, the app forces a child to reply to his messages.

So this is the ‘dad’ app?
Yes. Tech whiz Nick Herbert from West Wickham, Kent, has built this app which makes his kid’s phone go berserk.

Berserk?
Yes. ReplyASAP takes over the recipient’s screen and sets off all the alarms until the person responds. The app basically turns notification and call tone volumes up to maximum and locks access to any other features until the incoming message is read and a response sent.

Kind of rendering a social embarrassment!!!
But this way, the dad can relax and know that his child is safe and alive.

Don't know if this is intrusive or genius!
Herbert spent eight months creating ReplyASAP app. 'I realise teenagers aren’t going to be massively keen but it is just supposed to be a fail-safe,' Herbert said.

It cannot get any weirder!
Well, I know no kid would want this sort of remote attack, but it is way better than apps like The Ugly Meter which, on a scale from 1 to 10, tries to tell whether your child is a beauty or a beast. Or the Baby Translator which claims to interpret what your crying child wants.

Are these even real?
The Dad app is and it’s available on Android at the moment.
