POLITICS OF FRIENDSHIP: Way off the radar of poll pundits and election experts, the unlikeliest of alliances has been formed. Archrivals of days bygone, Jaya Prada and Sridevi have retracted their sharp claws and extended the hand of friendship if only for Amar Singh.

STAR WARS: The last time the ladies came together for a common cause was possibly for a film called ‘Maqsad’. Legend has it that the sparks flew so high that in an unsuccessful attempt, the film’s male stars, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra, locked the two women in a room to sort themselves out.

BEST SUPPORTING ROLE: For once in their public lives, the two women have cast themselves in a supporting role. Making the most as always, is Amar Singh.
