Actor and writer Reggie McFadden has died at the age of 57 in Tanzania. He was best known for the American comedy series In Living Color.

McFadden’s sister, Bernice McFadden, confirmed his death to The Hollywood Reporter. She said that the US Department informed the family about his death in Tanzania. He was living there for quite some time. His cause of death is unknown as of now.

Tony Luewellyn conveyed condolences on Facebook and said, “Rest in peace, fellow comedian, Reggie Mcfadden." He also added, “Another fallen veteran comedy brother!”

Reggie McFadden was born on November 30, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Little Nicky (2000), Jacob's Ladder (1990) and Minor Adjustments (1995). He had four children: Jaron McFadden, Bernice McFadden, Misty McFadden and Myles McFadden.

McFadden was also part of the cast of In Living Color. He worked as a performer and writer during the show's final season in 1993–94. The series was a Fox sketch-comedy show created by Keenen Ivory Wayans.

According to his Facebook page, McFadden was the owner of Olduvai Records, a gold-mining and entertainment company in Tanzania. The company’s website says it works with Sony Music’s The Orchard in New York to distribute its music and audiovisual content worldwide. McFadden released an album called ENJOY, Vol. 1 through the label in May 2025.
