A recruitment specialist recently uploaded an image of his shattered keyboard, which he reportedly broke in frustration after a job seeker turned down his employment offer in favor of another opportunity. Ethan Mooney, a recruitment professional based in London, took to LinkedIn to share a snapshot of the damaged keyboard along with an account of the chain of events that led him to lose his composure.

Mooney, who works as a talent acquisition consultant, recounted that a candidate was scheduled to attend a follow-up interview at 9:30 a.m. but never arrived. Roughly thirty minutes later, the individual messaged him to convey that he had opted for a different job offer instead.

Overcome with fury, the recruiter smashed his keyboard into two pieces. "To be fair, I couldn't locate the F*** key," he quipped before adding, "Who says recruiters dont care?"
