Recipe: Bring in the weekend early with this easy-to-make, yummy Paan Martini

Named after Rick Blaine, the star of 'Casablanca', Rick's at Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi has been long known for its legendary cocktails. And while there is nothing like an evening spent sipping on enticing cocktails with eclectic music for company, we get that sometimes you might want to enjoy those yummy cocktails in bed.

So we got Manish Thakur, Mixologist at Rick's to share his secrets for a Paan Martini, and we guarantee this one's going to become a favourite.

Ingredients:

Gin: 50ml
Triple sec: 10ml
Martini Rosse: 15ml
Paan: 1 full
Sugar syrup: 5ml
Lemon juice: 2.5ml
Apple juice: 40ml


It's perfection in a glass.

Method

- Muddle and then shake the ingredients together
- Serve in a martini glass
- Garnish with varq
