Realme GT Neo2 5G review: This smartphone is ready for the game
The design is a notchless one with a punch-hole selfie shooter on the top left of the display.

The bottom edge also carries the SIM card slot with space for 2 nano cards, a USB type-C charging port and speaker vents. The phone sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The auto-brightness feature works as it should and the display gets a slightly yellow tinge when viewed at a sharp angle. The app navigation is very smooth, the apps open instantaneously, and the UI has a neat look. There is some bloatware on the phone which can be uninstalled. Both the rear and the front camera gave some clear and sharp snaps during the day and under artificial light.
The portrait mode blurs the background effectively while keeping the sharpness in the edges of the object in focus. At night, the rear camera setup gave natural, sharp and detailed images; objects more than 15 metres away came out a bit hazy with a little drop in sharpness. Gaming-wise, this phone is a delight to use. We played Call of Duty Mobile on high graphics with a max frame rate, which is the highest possible graphics setting for the game, and had a pleasant, glitch and lag-free gaming experience.
The smartphone back does get warm after 4-5 matches. The Realme GT Neo2 t a k e s about 40-45 minutes to charge to full. The battery on the phone can easily go on for two days on light usage and for one day if you are a heavy user. Overall, the Realme GT Neo2 is a very balanced phone on all fronts and you could not go wrong with it in the `30k-40k segment.
