Realme 3: Rs 10,000 Phone With High Screen-To-Body Ratio
Realme is one of the fastest growing brands in India. In 2018, the brand launched 5 smartphones catering to the budget and mid-range segment. For 2019, Realme has multiple devices planned and the first phone is the Realme 3.
Realme 3 features a 6.22-inch size HD+ display with a Dewdrop notch design. The design has been completely revamped compared to previous devices and now features a gradient finish. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Mediatek Helio P70 processor, 4,230mAh battery and will come in two configurations - 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. In the camera department, it comes with a dual rear camera setup - 13MP f1.8 + 2MP while the front has a 13MP AI assisted camera with f2.0 aperture. Realme 3 is the first phone to offer a Nightscape mode in its price segment which offers superior low light shooting. It also has Chroma boost mode where the AI analyses and enhances photos to make them look more appealing.
Other features include dual SIM slots, expandable storage with dedicated microSD slot, Fingerprint sensor, 4G, dual VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone comes with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android P with features like Face unlock, AI based camera features and smart app management. This is also the first smartphone in this range to officially support HAL3 Camera API2 which enables support for third party apps. Also, the phone will come with unlocked Bootloader out of the box.
Realme 3 will come in three colours - Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue and black. The 3GB RAM variant is for Rs 8,999 while the 4GB RAM variant is for Rs 10,999. The phone will go on sale starting 12th March on Flipkart.
