Reactions Alibaba's recent ad received
Recently, Alibaba placed an ad for a "programmer encouragement specialist" who was an "open-minded lolita" in the mould of adult film star Sora Aoi. It provoked outrage, and in the odd case, some amusement too.

Peter Vesterbacka, CMO, Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds, to Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba: "Jack, with due respect, don't be a male chauvinist pig. You know what my birds will do to you."

Dharmendra to Hema Malini: "Arre pagli, the ad was for Alibaba the company, not our fi lm."

Amitabh Bachchan: "I'm off to tell Mr Ma that what you really want in a job candidate is good digestion."

Kieron Pollard: "Adult films, huh? The way Mumbai Indians are playing, I'm thinking alternative careers. The boys say I look like Denzel Washington. So if there's ever a seamy parody of Malcolm X, you know, Malcolm XXX or something…I might just get a role."

Karan Johar to Anurag Kashyap: "Plot for your next, Anurag? An angry, Wasseypur-type gun-wielding female programmer?"
