The wait is over. The fourth season of the incredibly successful action crime TV series Reacher is all set to be back on Wednesday. Lee Child's well-known literary character was reimagined in 2022 as a Prime Video streaming series, following two Jack Reacher films starring Tom Cruise in 2012 and 2016. Child's debut book, Killing Floor (1997), served as the inspiration for Reacher Season 1, which starred Ritchson as the main character, an ex-Army Military Police detective who travels from city to city with little more than a toothbrush. The author's eleventh book, Bad Luck and Trouble, was brought to life in Reacher Season 2 in 2023, while the seventh book, Persuader, was adapted for Season 3 in 2025. Gone Tomorrow, Child's thirteenth book in the series, served as the basis for Reacher's fourth season.

In Season 4, Reacher has an unfortunate encounter with a stranger in Philadelphia, who he suspects is carrying a bomb. When he tries to stop her, he commits suicide. He decides to investigate, he becomes entangled in a sinister conspiracy involving those in the highest echelons of authority.

The fourth season of Reacher is scheduled to debut on Prime Video on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time. On September 16, 2026, the finale will be made available.

The fifth season of Reacher, which will be based on Lee Child's book Make Me, has already been renewed. Neagley, a spin-off based on Frances Neagley and starring Maria Stenm, is another addition to the franchise. It will debut on Prime Video on August 12.
