Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have confirmed that their wedding reception will take place on the evening of March 4 in Hyderabad. However, the couple has made it clear that the event will remain strictly invitation-only. In a statement issued by their team, the couple addressed the growing excitement around what fans call the “Virosh” wedding.

The official note read, “Virosh Wedding Reception to Remain a Strictly Invitation-Only Event; Fans and Guests are being Requested to Support Safety Measures.”

The statement further said, “The ‘Virosh’ wedding has become one of the most celebrated occasions in the country, drawing immense love and attention from across India. Following the intimate wedding ceremony, the reception of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna is scheduled to be held on 4th evening of March 4th in Hyderabad.”


Originally, the reception was planned as an exclusive gathering for members of the film fraternity across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada industries. Distinguished leaders from political and administrative circles were also expected to attend. But due to what the team described as “extraordinary nationwide excitement,” the guest list has now been further reduced after discussions with authorities.

The statement explained, “However, due to the extraordinary nationwide excitement surrounding the wedding and in consultation with the authorities, the guest list has now been further restricted. Police officials have advised tighter controls to prevent large public gatherings, traffic congestion, and any potential safety risks. Ensuring the well-being of guests, the public, and the couple remains the highest priority.”

It also made it very clear that “Entry to the venue will be strictly limited to guests with valid invitations. Individuals without official invites are respectfully requested not to visit the venue, as access will not be permitted under any circumstances.”

The team added that if required, additional receptions could be organised later “to accommodate well-wishers in a more structured and secure manner.”

Signing off, the couple said, “Your safety and happiness mean everything to us. We are deeply grateful for your blessings and support, and we request your cooperation in helping us keep this celebration safe and joyful for everyone.”

Intimate Wedding in Udaipur

Rashmika and Vijay tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The ceremony was described as intimate but high-profile, attended by close family members and selected friends from the film industry.

The celebrations included two traditional ceremonies. One was conducted according to Telugu customs, honouring Vijay’s heritage, and the other followed Kodava traditions, reflecting Rashmika’s Coorg roots. After the wedding, the couple shared official pictures on social media, which quickly went viral and recorded massive engagement.

Soon after returning to Hyderabad, the two distributed sweets to paparazzi stationed outside their residence. They also visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple to seek blessings, and visuals from the visit were widely shared online.

Appearance at Allu Sirish’s Pre-Wedding Function

Amid their own wedding celebrations, the couple also attended the pre-wedding festivities of Allu Sirish. They were seen at the traditional Pelli Koduku ceremony held at the Allu family residence ahead of his March 6 wedding to Nayanika Reddy.

The gathering saw the presence of prominent names including Allu Arjun and Ram Charan. Rashmika and Vijay posed for pictures with the family, adding to the celebratory mood.
