After years of speculation and quiet appearances together, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are now officially married. The couple has shared their first wedding picture, and within minutes, it went viral widely across social media. Fans who had followed their journey closely did not have to wait long once the announcement was made.

Sharing the pictures on his official Instagram handle Vijay wrote, "One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was.

Rashmika also shared the wedding photos on her Instagram and wrote, "Introducing to you now “My Husband”! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The wedding took place in Udaipur in the presence of close friends and family members. It was a private affair, away from media glare. For nearly eight years, there were rumours about their relationship. The two never clearly addressed it in public for a long time. Only recently did they confirm they were together, and now, they have made their relationship official with marriage.

The celebrations were hosted at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, a luxury property known for its scenic surroundings. As per reports, the Telugu wedding ceremony was solemnised at 10:10 AM. Later in the day, around 4 PM, traditional Kodava rituals were scheduled to take place, reflecting Rashmika’s cultural roots. The sunset ceremony was planned in line with Kodava customs, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.

The couple officially embraced the nickname “Virosh” for their wedding. The tag was originally coined by fans during the release of Geetha Govindam. Over time, as dating rumours grew stronger, the name stayed. When they confirmed their wedding through coordinated Instagram notes, they warmly acknowledged the fan-given nickname and referred to their celebration as the wedding of Virosh.

From Co-stars to Life Partners

Their story began in 2018 when they worked together in Geetha Govindam. The film was a commercial success, and audiences appreciated their on-screen chemistry. They reunited the following year in Dear Comrade. After that, speculation about their off-screen bond became stronger. There were also reports suggesting that the two got engaged a few months before the wedding in a small private ceremony, though they did not speak about it publicly at the time.

For years, both chose not to label their relationship despite frequent rumours. That silence ended with their joint confirmation, which quickly grabbed attention online.

Instead of revealing everything at once, Rashmika and Vijay shared selected glimpses from their pre-wedding celebrations. One of the themed events was called the “Virosh Premier League,” which appeared to be a fun, sporty gathering.
