Rare Kennedy wedding pics go under the hammer this month

A collection of 13 original and most likely unpublished negatives from John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy's wedding will be auctioned in Boston this month. The auction, which will be organised by Bostonbased RR Auction, includes pictures taken on September 12, 1953, at St Mary's Church in Newport, Rhode Island.

They were shot by photographer Frank Ataman. Four of the photos feature the newlywed couple, while two of them show the entire wedding party.The remainder show the cake, reception, and wedding attendees.

Other pieces up for auction include a 1963 John and Jacqueline holiday card, signed days before Kennedy's assasination, and a JFK presidential document from 1962.
