Dua was born on September 8, 2024, and her second birthday comes at a special time for the family. Ranveer and Deepika announced earlier this year that they are expecting their second child, meaning Dua will soon become a big sister.

The couple had announced Dua’s birth on September 8, 2024, with a joint post that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika & Ranveer (sic).” They later revealed that they had named their daughter Dua in November 2024. The name was chosen because they considered her the answer to their prayers.

Dua’s face was first shown publicly by her parents during Diwali 2025, when the family shared pictures together in traditional outfits.

Their relationship later became public, and the two got married in Italy on November 14, 2018, after dating for several years. They have since worked together in films including Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King, which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role and also features Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka, in which she will share the screen with Allu Arjun.
