Rani Mukerji's sister-in-law Jyoti turns fashion designer for kids

Actor Rani Mukerji's sister in law, Jyoti Mukerji has donned a new hat -- that of a kids fashion designer. Last seen in the television show Pratima and Mahadev, Jyoti, we hear has partnered up with Bhumika to start a kids label. Armed with a degree in Fashion and Apparel from SNDT College, Jyoti says that it all began when she designed director Farah Khan's triplets for their birthday. "It happened purely accidentally. I just dressed up Farah's kids for their birthday, and then it just took off. I was inundated with inquiries to dress up other star kids, and then socialite’s kids, among others. Living in the celebrity world, you will find that all the kids are so cute and well dressed up.”
About launching her own line of kids couture, she says, “My core belief in starting a kids couture line was there is only one pretty child in the world and every mother has it”. And is she planning anything special for her sister in law Rani's baby, due in the new year? “I would probably keep one in pink and one in blue ready and see how it goes. Right now, we are excitedly waiting for the baby to arrive. It’s so difficult to design for a new born baby. You need the baby to be at least two years of age to design cute outfits for them.”
