Rani Mukerji's father passes away at 84
According to sources close to the family, his blood pressure decreased drastically following which he was taken to a hospital. He was pronounced dead at around 5 am.

MUMBAI: Filmmaker Ram Mukerji, father of actor Rani Mukerji, passed away today early morning. He was 84.
The filmmaker was not keeping well since a long time.
According to sources close to the family, his blood pressure decreased drastically following which he was taken to a hospital. He was pronounced dead at around 5 am.
Ram had directed films like, " Hum Hindustani" and "Leader", starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala.
He had also directed and produced Rani's debut film, " Biyer Phool" in 1996.
The filmmaker will be cremated today.
