According to reports, ‘Animal’ the Ranbir Kapoor starrer will be available for streaming on Netflix this January!

‘Animal’ Eyes A Digital Debut On Republic Day

According to a report by South First, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is eyeing a global digital release on 15 January. It will start streaming on January 26 (Republic Day).

However, the streaming giant has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.

A Twitter handle called OTTGuru however spilled the beans on the potential date of this blockbuster’s digital debut. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the handle admins wrote, “Animal OTT release, Jan 26!)

‘Animal’ OTT Version To Be Longer?

Thought three hours & 21 minutes was too long a duration for a movie? Think again.

In an interview with Komal Nahta, Vanga said that he would be adding scenes that he had to cut from the theatrical release.

“I was editing the version because there were some problems in 1-2 shots. I’m using different and a few more shots from the same take. One thing I felt was I should have left the 3 hours 30 minutes instead of 3 hours 21 minutes. I don’t know why I edited those 8-9 minutes. Now, I will be using those 5-6 minutes extra,” revealed the director.
