Ranbir Kapoor not doing Kishore Kumar biopic, Aamir Khan shows interest
The "PK" actor has been asking around about the casting of the rumoured biopic on Kishore Kumar and expressed interest in starring in it.

From time to time, there have been innumerable media reports on whether the film on the legend will ever happen. While some spoke about the actor-singer's immediate family not being too happy with it, others cited copyright issues as one of the reasons.
However, we know for sure that Aamir Khan, who normally takes eons to okay a script idea, is keen to play Kishoreda. A reliable source told us that in an informal discussion, Aamir asked Ranbir about the film's status as far as he was concerned. To which, the latter reportedly told him that the only biopic he has green-lighted is the one in which he plays Sanjay Dutt, and he is not interested in doing a second biopic. In reply, Aamir is said to have asked Ranbir if he could start a conversation with the studio that wants to bankroll the movie, as he is intrigued by the renowned artiste.
Aamir currently weighs around 90-odd kilos and is in the process of playing the retired Haryana wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Knowing how methodical AK is, it will only be long after 'Dangal' that he will give a nod to his next script. So currently, all talks on the Kishore biopic is up in the air. However, just the fact that the Bollywood superstar has shown interest in portraying the playback singer is reason enough to talk about it.
