‘Ramayana’: Ranbir Kapoor- Sai Pallavi’s looks get leaked, fans gush about regal appearance

The wait is over! The buzz around Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of ‘Ramayana’, the evergreen Hindu epic, which was palpable ever since the magnum opus was announced after it was revealed that superstar Ranbir Kapoor, ‘KGF’ star Yash and Tamil diva Sai Pallavi has been roped in to play Lord Ram, Ravana and Ram’s consort Mata Sita, has now reached an all-time high after some pictures from the shooting set were leaked.

In the leaked images, the ‘Animal’ star appears sublime and regal as Lord Ram. He appears bare-chested and sports golden jewellery and a crimson robe. The ‘Premam’ actress looked resplendent in an ornate ensemble and exuded the demure yet powerful aura of Sita. In the photos, the two appear to be taking a stroll.

As expected, the photos left the Internet rather polarised. While fans were absolutely beside themselves with delight at their regal appearance, some netizens pointed out that their chemistry seemed to be off.

Reacting to the leaked pictures, one X user wrote, “Ranbir Kapoor as Ram with Kada and Kundal bruh I'm too satisfied to see this leak pics..”

Another fan defended the pair from detractors. “We know who the haters are for Ranbir and Sai both . It's a bunch of racists for her and a bunch of turds in his case who are jealous and only bitter . Screenshot this tweet. #Ramayana will be the biggest success story whenever it gets released . Y'all just wait for it..” reads the post.

“Omg they look so good!” gushed another.


However, some netizens were not sold on Kapoor as Lord Ram. “Shouldn't have made that baldie play Shree Ram. Even TV actors looked way better as Siya Ram but these two are just looking so bad… “ quipped an X user.

About ‘Ramayana’

Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ is purported to be an authentic adaptation of the epic. It will also mark Sandalwood (Kannada film industry) star Yash’s Bollywood debut. The movie is expected to hit the theatres on Diwali 2025.

Apart from essaying the role of the antagonist, Yash has also stepped in as a producer for the film.
