Actor Ram Charan, who is currently enjoying the much-deserved success of his recent superhit film 'RRR', is trending on the Internet yet again. The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport on Sunday dressed in all black, walking barefoot.
The star is currently on a spiritual journey as he is observing the 41-day-long Ayyappa Deeksha. A small video clip of the actor arriving at the Mumbai airport dressed in black attire and walking barefoot while waving and smiling atthe crowd gathered outside to catch his glimpse has gone viral on the Internet.
The 41 days fasting highlights the significance of abstinence and austerity.
It is mandatory for every devotee to observe the fast of 41 days before visiting the Sabarimala temple, the hill abode of Lord Ayyappa, in Kerala.
For those who don't know, Charan observes Ayyappa Deeksha every year for 41 days before visiting the Sabarimala temple.
During this spiritual journey, it is mandatory for every devotee to wear a garland made of Tulsi or Rudraksha, swamis usually wear black, dark blue or saffron and will walk barefoot, and the devotees do not shave the beard or cut their hair during this period among other things.
Ever since the video and pictures of Charan went viral, his fans have been praising the actor for following rituals and being grounded despite being a superstar. The actor also surpised his fans recently as he visited Gaitey Cinema in Mumbai.
Having turned heads with his astounding performance as Alluri Sitarama Raju in the multi-starrer film 'RRR', Charan has become the favourite for film-makers, not just in regional cinema but also in Bollywood. According to a report in IANS, several Bollywood scripts currently are making rounds towards Charan.
On work front, the 37-year-old actor will be next seen in 'Acharya' starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde.
Apart from that, the star also has Shankar's multilingual film, which is tentatively titled 'RC15'. Produced by Dil Raji and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara, the film also stars Kiara Advani.
