Rajkummar Rao & Patralekhaa are engaged! Actor goes down on his knee, couple dance to Ed Sheeran song, wedding today

Bollywood couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, who kept their silence amidst all the wedding repots, got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in Chandigarh on Saturday evening. The engagement ceremony took place at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in New Chandigarh which was attended by their family and close friends.

Film-make Farah Khan and actor Saqib Saleem were also present at the ceremony. Dressed in all white, the couple, who started dating in 2010, looked gorgeous at the event. In a video that's gone viral on social media, the 37-year-old actor goes down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend (soon-to-be his wife) at the bash with a ring, to which Patralekaa joins Rao on the floor and the two exchange rings while Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect' song plays in the background.

The couple then dance as their guests applaud and congratulate them.

While Rao wore a white kurta-churidaar with a jacket and sneakers, Patralekhaa donned a white off-shoulder gown for the ceremony. The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot soon.

According to reports, the two are set to tie the knot on November 15 and ahead of their grand day, their wedding invite started making rounds on the internet.

As per the leaked invite, the wedding will take place at the same venue, The Oberoi Sukhvilas in Chandigarh.


Rajkummar and Patralekhaa worked together in projects such as 'Citylights' by director Hansal Mehta which released in 2014 and ALTBalaji series 'Bose: Dead/Alive'.
