Rajinikanth back home in time for 'Annaatthe' release after surgery
The superstar underwent a CAR surgery on Friday to restore blood supply to the brain.

The Dadasaheb Phalke awardee was admitted to the city-based Kauvery Hospital on October 28, following an episode of giddiness. He underwent "Carotid Artery Revascularization" (CAR) on Friday, and was discharged from the hospital on Sunday evening.
Earlier in the day, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin had paid a visit to the actor at the hospital.
Pokala is known for creating Kavalan, a mobile citizen safety app in India, and Securra, a disruptive healthcare platform in New York.
Freshworks founder Girish Mathrubootham and Arvind Parthasarathi, tech entrepreneur from Silicon Valley, are advisors.
On the work front, Rajini's upcoming film 'Annathae' (elder brother) is slated to release on Diwali. The movie is directed by Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures.
