On its first day in cinemas, the Marathi edition of the film created history by registering one of the biggest openings ever for a film in the language. The strong start set high expectations, and although the collections witnessed a slight dip on the second day, the overall performance has remained impressive. Trade estimates suggest that within just two days, the Marathi version alone crossed the Rs 15 crore milestone, reflecting a powerful audience turnout and sustained interest.
According to early box office tracking data shared by Sacnilk, the film earned over Rs 7 crore on its second day from nearly 2,000 shows. This followed an outstanding opening day figure of around Rs 8 crore, which secured its place among the top debut collections for Marathi cinema. Despite the minor decline, theatre occupancy remained healthy at approximately 57 percent on day two, helping the film maintain momentum and push its cumulative Marathi total beyond Rs 15 crore.
The Hindi version, while not matching the scale of the Marathi success, has also contributed steadily to the overall earnings. On its opening day, the Hindi release generated over Rs 3 crore, adding to the film’s combined total. The second day brought in a similar figure, though with a slight drop of about 7 percent. Even so, these numbers indicate a consistent performance across both language markets.
When the earnings from both versions are combined, the film’s net collection in India stands at nearly Rs 22 crore after two days, with gross figures exceeding Rs 26 crore. If this trend continues without any major decline, the film is well-positioned to cross the Rs 30 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend, a notable achievement for a historical drama of this scale.
Apart from its box office success, the film also boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring prominent actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Sachin Khedekar, Fardeen Khan, Vidya Balan, Boman Irani, Bhagyashree, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Sanjay Dutt. Adding to the film’s appeal is a special appearance by Salman Khan, which has further heightened audience curiosity and engagement.
