Rahul Bajaj had 100% attendance in school and Harvard, but bunked law classes
The Bajaj Group head spoke at the All India Management Association’s event last month.

Bajaj shared his thoughts on the economy, politics, policies, scams and corruption, with a fleeting mention of “Choksi and his bhanja (nephew).” He was, of course, referring to Gitanjali’s Mehul Choksi, and his nephew, Nirav Modi, both currently in the news for the Punjab National Bank ( PNB) loan scam.
While the 30-minute conversation largely concentrated on macro issues, Bajaj did share a personal tidbit. He said that his attendance in school, when he studied economics, and during his MBA from Harvard Business School, was a 100 per cent.
That wasn’t the case for his law classes though. “I didn’t include my LLB in that, which I passed in second class, not first class like the others. Don’t ask my attendance for law. It was very good in the coffee shop,” Bajaj said.
