Chris Martin’s love for music began early and grew stronger as his life moved across countries and classrooms. When he was 10, he lived with his family in Zimbabwe, and later returned to England for school, attending institutions like Hylton and Exeter Cathedral School. Martin later studied at University College London (UCL) and graduated with a first-class honours degree in Greek and Latin. It was at UCL that he met Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, the musicians who would eventually become his bandmates in Coldplay.
