After briefly attending the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, he moved to New York City in 1961 to pursue music seriously. Over the years, he dedicated himself to writing and performing songs, many of which draw from his personal experiences, relationships and spiritual thoughts. Apart from music, Dylan has also explored visual art. According to official records from the Nobel Prize organisation, he is the father of six children from two marriages.
