Quikr's Pranay Chulet and wife Tina welcome baby girl, Sophie Siya

This year will remain special for Quikr founder Pranay Chulet. It marked a new chapter for his wife Tina and him as they prepared to welcome a new member in their household.

The couple stepped into the role of parents earlier this month. Their daughter, Sophie Siya, was born in the first week of December.

Virtual congratulations have been pouring in since Tina shared the happy news on social media. She'd been routinely documenting updates over the last few months of her pregnancy as well. It had all the new-age traditions, from a babymoon to a maternity shoot been honoured.

For those unfamiliar with the concepts, babymoon is a holiday taken by to-be-parents before the birth of their child. The Chulets picked a seaside vacation for theirs. As for the maternity shoot, that's one for the photo albums of the parents to-be, typically done in the last few weeks of the pregnancy.
