PV Sindhu is most comfortable in a pair of jeans

When PV Sindhu is not sweating it out on the badminton court, she is much like any other 20-something young girl who loves to shop. Since her Olympic glory, the shuttler has been attending plenty of events and functions, which give her the perfect opportunity to score fashion points.

At one such event, Sindhu told ETPanache, “I like dressing up. The clothes I wear depend on my mood, though. For events, there is a stylist who helps me pick my clothes and accessories. But on a normal day, I am most comfortable in a pair of jeans.”

Sindhu’s overseas tournaments double up as a shopping opportunity too, though given her rigorous schedule, much of it is left unfinished. “Whenever we get time, I go and look around. I love to shop for jewellery and bags. I am not very choosy, but if I like something, I buy it. No two ways about it,” she said, with a laugh.
