Dropping the picture, he wrote, "Pleased to have attended the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu with Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening and conveyed my wishes & blessings to the couple for their new life ahead."

From the picture, it seems both the bride and groom opted for more subdued shades. Sindhu was decked in a white gold and silver ensemble while her groom sported a similar hued outfit.
The celebrations are far from over, as the newlyweds will host a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. Pre-wedding festivities included a Sangeet on December 20, followed by Haldi, Pellikuthuru, and Mehendi ceremonies the next day.
On the professional front, Sindhu recently broke a two-year drought in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour by clinching the Syed Modi India International title in Lucknow. She defeated China’s Wu Luo Yu in a 47-minute final, winning in straight games 21-14, 21-16.
This marked Sindhu’s first BWF World Tour title since her 2022 Singapore Open win, a BWF Super 500 event. Although she reached the finals of the Spain Masters and Malaysia Masters in 2023 and 2024, those titles eluded her.
Meet Venkata Datta Sai
Sai is currently the Executive Director of Posidex, a data mining company. He holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University and a Master’s Degree in Data Science & Machine Learning from IIFT Bangalore.During his time at JSW, Sai had the unique opportunity to manage the JSW-owned Delhi Capitals. Reflecting on this experience in a LinkedIn post, he remarked, "While my BBA in finance and economics provided valuable insights, managing an IPL team taught me lessons that were equally, if not more, impactful."
