'Pushpa 2' teaser gives 1st glimpse of Allu Arjun, trailer to release on Friday

If you are one of those who absolutely loved ‘Pushpa’ and have been hoping for the film’s sequel to arrive soon, then here’s some good news for you.

The creators of 'Pushpa 2' on Wednesday shared a quick glimpse of the upcoming film. The makers also announced the date for when the film’s trailer is dropping.


Directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1', which came out in December 2021, starred Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film told the story of a labourer named Pushpa who ends up making many enemies as he rises in the world of red sandalwood smuggling.

The film created a tsunami at the box-office when it was released as the dialogues and songs from the film were a big hit with the crowd.

Going by the upcoming film’s 20-second-short teaser trailer, we can expect some drama and lots of action. The makers will drop the film’s official trailer on April 7, as mentioned in the teaser.

It was pretty well-known that the ‘Pushpa’ would get a sequel, which will see Arjun deliver a power-packed performance.

The makers of Pushpa shared the teaser on their Twitter handle. "#WhereIsPushpa ? The search ends soon! - https://youtu.be/JG-u9rNLq50 The HUNT before the RULE Reveal on April 7th at 4.05 PM. #PushpaTheRule," the tweet read.
The glimpses in the short teaser video had a voice-over referring to the character of Pushpa Raj escaping from Tirupati jail. The teaser mentions the hunt as makers plan a grand reveal for the story on 7th April which is one day prior to Allu's birthday.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The prequel of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', which also starred Fahadh Faasil, was widely praised.
