An incredible evening.

A video showing the ‘Deewar’ star shaking hands with football legends such as Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar Jr, has the Internet in a tizzy.


The actor was in Riyadh as a chief guest to watch the epic face-off between Messi and Ronaldo in an exhibition match between Riyadh Seasons Team and Paris Saint-Germain.

Taking to Twitter, the ‘Zanjeer’ actor, shared the video and gushed about the interaction. “An evening in Riyadh …. What an evening!” In the video, the Bollywood veteran is shown being escorted by a Saudi Sheikh, before he goes on to greet the footballers and shake hands with them. The video has now gone viral on the micro-blogging platform with more than 750K views, 31K likes, and more than 2500 retweets.
Along with the video, the ‘Sholay’ star also dropped several pictures that show him shaking hands and posing with the football stars. Another wrote, “We are all proud of you Amit ji, your modesty and your dignity is something to learn … they are so lucky shaking the hands of the best actor in the world.”

Fans were elated at the interaction. One wrote, “A legend was invited to meet and greet legends and they were all on the same page. Humble and in gratitude.”

This was the first match between the two giants of the football world since 2020 as well as the 37th time in their careers. Both scored 23 goals each although Messi has an edge over Ronaldo with 17 wins (as opposed to Ronaldo’s 11 wins)

On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in the family/adventure drama ‘Uunchai’ along with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra. He will next be seen in the mega-budget sci-fi film ‘Project K’. The movie also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
