Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the 'beti'-late-than-never, has a few questions for Dr. D
The 47-year-old has decided to take the plunge and join the family business.

Dear Dr D,
I have decided to take the plunge and join the family business to help out my brother. He means well but he was never the brightest kid in the class. Certainly he is not the leader that his team wants him to be.
I have zero experience in his line of work and so the questions I have to answer on his behalf are:
.. How does one manage a national organisation?
.. How does one rebrand a product that is over a century old?
.. If the competitor sells something that is wildly popular but contains dangerous ingredients, how does one alert the consumer?
.. How can I assert myself without undermining my brother?

.. I have no fear of failure but how can I protect him from the fallout in case I do?
.. My husband’s brand is quite negative. How do I avoid being tagged to it?
Beti-late-than-never,

Dear BLTN,
Good luck.
