Priyanka Chopra reaches 12 million followers on Twitter, thanks fans

MUMBAI: Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra received a good luck present from her fans today when she reached 12 million mark on Twitter on the day her much awaited film "Bajirao Mastani" hit screens.

The 33-year-old actress, who became an international face courtesy her singles "In My City", "Exotic" and American TV series "Quantico," thanked her fans for being her strength.

In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period love saga, Priyanka is playing the role Kashi Bai, first wife of Peshwa Bajirao.

Apart from this, the actress will be seen playing a tough cop in Prakash Jha's directorial venture "Jai Gangaajal".

The film is a sequel to his hit 2003 cop drama "Gangaajal".
