Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas tie the knot in a Hindu ceremony; go traditional with a 'haldi-chooda' function

Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with Nick Jonas in a traditional Hindu ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace, a day after the couple took their vows in a Christian service.
According to a report in TOI, the day began with a traditional haldi-choodaceremony that took place at the luxury hotel's Mardana Hall. The venue was decorated with gendaphool (marigolds) and the colour-theme for the function was pink, orange and purple. There was even a safa ceremony in the evening.
After having donned creations by designer-duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for the mehendi and sangeet functions, the former Miss World turned bride in an ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
The couple took an elephant ride around the premises of the palace and arrived at the main wedding area, according to the TOI report.
The palace was lit up for the celebrations. The ceremony was followed by an elaborate dinner and an after-party.
