Priyanka Chopra gets a New Year makeover, goes almost-blonde

It's New Year, new beginnings for global icon Priyanka Chopra.

'The Matrix Resurrections' actress took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her new hair colour.

The 39-year-old was seen flaunting her almost-blonde hair to singer Ariana Grande's 'My Hair'. The chorus from the 2020 single was also seen on the screen, "To run your hands through my hair. Baby, 'cause that's why it's there."


"New Year, new hair," her Insta Story read.

Famous hair-colourist Tracey Cunningham, who co-owns MèCHE Salon in Beverly Hills, helped the 'Fashion' star get her new look.

Chopra has nearly a year-long connection with haircare. She founded her unconventional brand, Anomaly Haircare, last year in February - in an attempt to disrupt the hair care category.

Earlier this month, PeeCee - fondly known by her fans - rang in the New Year with singer-husband Nick Jonas, businesswoman-friend Natasha Poonawalla and writer Cavanaugh James.

The actress posted pictures from her yacht celebration, and tagged her location, "Heaven :)."

Jonas had also shared an adorable picture from the same celebration where Priyanka could be seen planting a kiss on his cheek.

The couple, who have been battling split rumours amid their long-distance relationship due to their busy work schedules, got married in December 2018.

On the work front, Chopra wrapped up shooting for the series 'Citadel' last month, which also stars Richard Madden and Roland Moller. The series will also inspire spin-offs set in Italy, India, Spain and Mexico, all of which will explore the deeper layers of the storylines and will centralise into the main series.
