Prithviraj's 'Karnan' will be a multilingual

Prithviraj and director R S Vimal launched their upcoming project titled Karnan in Dubai recently. The movie will have the actor playing the titular character and warrior from Mahabharatha.

The actor said at the event, "It's a dream project for me and we want to do it on a grand scale. I don't have any problem giving it dates. I am just waiting for the script to be complete."

The film, touted to be a big-budget production, will also be a multi-lingual. A source close to the Dubai-based production house tells us, "The plan is to release it in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. We are also planning to rope in the VFX team who had worked in Baahubali."

The source also tells us that the project will take at least another year before it goes on floors. "After the script is ready, we have to decide the cast, which would comprise actors from all South industries. To coordinate their dates would take some more time," says the source.
