Priced at 10K, limited edition Nothing Ear (2) Black with 2 new features is here!

Consumer technology brand Nothing unveiled the all-new black variant of its Ear (2) earbuds ahead of the highly-anticipated Phone (2) launch in India.

Priced at Rs 9,999, the limited edition Ear (2) Black will be available for purchase on Flipkart from July 21 in select retail stores. According to a company statement, customers who have pre-ordered the upcoming Phone (2) will have exclusive early access to the Ear (2) black from July 11 to July 20.

The Ear (2) noise-cancellation earbuds offer an immersive sound experience, featuring Hi-Res Audio certification and LHDC 5.0 technology.


The earbuds feature an 11.6 mm custom driver for deep, powerful bass and crystal-clear highs with a new dual chamber design that enhances the overall sound quality with smoother airflow.

Ear (2) also features Dual Connection for easy device switching, Personal Sound Profile for next-level personalisation, improved wind-proof and crowd-proof Clear Voice Technology, and Personalised Active Noise Cancellation that adapts to the unique shape of a user's ear canal, claims Nothing.


Additionally, Nothing has introduced two new audio updates through the Nothing X app. Users can access an Advanced Equaliser for Ear (2) and Ear (stick), along with a dedicated Noise Reduction feature for the Ear (stick) earbuds. The advanced equalizer provides users with extensive customization options, including an 8-band equalizer, real-time preview, and frequency control.

Available on the Nothing X app, the Advanced Equaliser feature will let users share their EQ profile or download others through a QR code. To access the Noise Reduction feature, users can go to Settings in the Nothing X app.


Meanwhile, Nothing CEO Carl Pei revealed the design of the Phone (2) box on Twitter.


Earlier in the day, Nothing revealed that pre-order passes for the upcoming Phone (2) sold out on Flipkart, its e-commerce partner. The Phone (2), set to launch in India on July 11, boasts the advanced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and Nothing OS 2.0 with a redesigned user interface.

The Phone (2) will be manufactured in India for consumers in the country and will be one of the most sustainable smartphones in the market. Pei recently visited the manufacturing facility in Chennai to monitor the progress himself.
