Keegan Allen who starred in ‘Pretty Little Liars’, said he was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint in West Hollywood on Thursday. Allen shared a video on Instagram after being struck in the head. The video showed Allen’s face covered in blood after the incident.
Allen said two masked men attacked him and threatened to kill him. The incident occurred outside the luxury grocery store, Laurel Supply.
The robbery was reported shortly after police received a 911 call about a victim being assaulted with a gun and robbed of a watch. The suspects were described as two Black male adults in the sheriff’s radio communication. They reportedly fled north on Olive Drive in an unknown vehicle.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 8445 Santa Monica Boulevard. Multiple units responded to the armed robbery.
“West Hollywood is not safe anymore,” Keegan Allen in video
Sharing a video following the incident, Allen said the area was not safe anymore. “Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to kill me over my watch and would have,” Allen said in the post. “God said no tonight…My life for a watch,” he further added.
In the video, Allen described his ordeal out the grocery store. He said that the two men hit him in the head and then took off. The attackers were wearing a mask and took Allen’s Rolex watch.
Allen also shared security footage of the incident. The video of the robbery showed the two men approach Allen, who was putting items into his truck’s rear passenger side in the store’s parking lot. One of them struck Allen in the head multiple times with a gun. The other man held the actor at knifepoint. They duo were caught on camera fleeing away. They let Allen keep his bracelet and a ring.
Allen told fans on Instagram that he went to a hospital after the attack. He said that he would be okay, but suspected that he had a concussion. I am definitely confused, Allen added.
“Let’s hope all these flock cameras everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals,” Allen added, calling out the security status in LA. West Hollywood has 39 Flock Safety license plate readers and six installed live-video cameras according to Page Six.
The incident comes amid a series of robberies reported in West Hollywood over the past month. This also includes a robbery involving a shooting which occurred on October 1.
