Presley Gerber Death: The rehab facility where Cindy Crawford’s son died grapples with difficulties

The Santa Monica rehab facility where Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, died, continues to face trouble over a month after his death. According to TMZ, at least four employees have quit their jobs since the tragic incident occurred.

Presley died at the Resolutions Living rehab facility on September 20, 2026 (Sunday), due to a suspected overdose. His death remains under investigation, and his official cause of death has not been determined. He was 27.

Citing sources, TMZ reported that the employees who have left the facility apparently include several technicians. It is also a possibility that there is a facility's kitchen staff among those who have quit.

The sources told the outlet that since Presley’s tragic death the morale of the staff working in the rehab facility has been horrible and extremely low. His death was the breaking point for many employees.

Notably, employees who are still working at the facility are allegedly pushing residents to find some other place to stay. TMZ’s sources further claimed that many of the residents in the facility have already moved out since the tragedy occurred.

The morale in the facility had already been on a decline for approximately a year prior to the incident. According to the sources of the news outlet, the rehab facility kept admitting residents who required a higher level of care. Among those admitted, there were residents experiencing severe mental health crises, and there were also those who were arriving under the influence of drugs.

Presley, 27, was found dead at the sober living facility just hours after he had checked in. His sober coach had contacted the facility before bringing him there. He had informed the staff that he was high on drugs. Despite the warning, the facility agreed to admit him.
