Prabhu Deva’s influence in the Indian entertainment industry spans over three decades. He has choreographed and performed in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu films, earning many National Film Awards for Best Choreography. He has been also honored with the Padma Shri. Beyond his professional achievements, Prabhu Deva’s personal life has also been eventful. He was previously married to Ramlath. The couple had three children, but tragedy struck in 2008 when their eldest son Vishal succumbed to cancer at the age of 13. Their marriage faced turmoil when Prabhu Deva’s relationship with an actress became public. Ramlath filed a legal petition against their relationship, leading to protests from women’s organizations. The couple eventually divorced.
Prabhu Deva later relocated to Mumbai. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, he married Himani, a Mumbai-based physiotherapist. The couple welcomed a daughter in June 2023, making him a father for the fourth time.
