Prabhas is celebrating his birthday on October 23 while gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Fauzi, reportedly scheduled for March 2027. Beyond his big-screen success, the Baahubali star, popularly known as the Rebel Star, is also associated with a reported portfolio of luxury properties. These include a villa in Hyderabad, an ancestral property in Andhra Pradesh, an apartment in Mumbai and a vacation home in Italy. His family's ancestral estate in Mogalthur is unique among these properties because of its historic connections, old-world architecture, and serene surroundings.

Inside Prabhas’ ancestral property in Andhra Pradesh

Although Prabhas was born in Madras, now Chennai, his family has roots in Mogalthur, a village near Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district. The family’s ancestral property is associated with the former Mogalthur Samsthanam and includes Kathaki Mahal, also known as Rajamahal.

The historic building is reportedly between 100 and 300 years old. Often described as a fort, the property offers a glimpse into the region’s royal past. Its traditional design, heritage walls, vintage doors and hidden rooms set it apart from the modern homes usually associated with film stars.

The estate is also closely linked to Prabhas’ family history. His father, producer Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju, and his uncle, actor Krishnam Raju, are said to have grown up in the ancestral home, according to News18 report. The property therefore holds significance beyond its architecture, connecting the actor to his family’s roots and earlier generations.

Reports and videos featuring the property have drawn attention to its traditional features and the way the estate has retained its old-world character. Prabhas reportedly visited the ancestral house after a gap of 12 years, renewing interest in the historic property.

Coconut groves, ponds and a peaceful setting

The estate’s surroundings are another part of its appeal. According to GQ report, he owns a peaceful, Rs 1.05 crore farmhouse in his hometown. Coconut groves, fish ponds and traditional water tanks reportedly form part of the property, creating a setting far removed from the busy atmosphere of Hyderabad and the demands of film production.

Unlike a modern celebrity mansion all about modern interiors and amenities, the ancestral home is noted for its heritage features. Its antique doors, concealed rooms and aged walls lend it a different character. The greenery around adds to the traditional village ambiance.

Prabhas’ luxury homes and upcoming films

Prabhas is also reported to own a villa in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, valued at around Rs 60 crore in media reports. The residence is said to feature a private gym, a swimming pool and landscaped gardens. Other reports have linked the actor to a Mumbai apartment and a vacation villa in Italy, which he reportedly rents to tourists. He is also said to be developing a palace-style estate across two acres in Hyderabad’s Financial District. These property details and valuations have not all been independently confirmed.

Meanwhile, the actor has several major projects lined up. Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is reportedly targeting a March 2027 release. He is also working on Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and is expected to return for the next instalments of Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar.
