Port-of-call: Here's why Adani junior loves visiting Dhamra, Vizag and Ennore
Heir to the $9.4 billion Adani Group, Karan Adani is mostly seen in a bandhgala at select social gatherings or wearing a fluorescent jacket on the port sites of the group. Son of business tycoon Gautam Adani, Karan is in charge of the company's port business arm, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones Limited. In fact, the group's Mundra Port, located in the Kachchh district of Gujarat, is the largest and acts as a gateway for north-western India.

The job requires him to visit sites such as Dhamra, Vizag and Ennore often and spend days there. But the 26-year-old, who was recently in Mumbai for his in-laws Cyril and Vandana Shroff's 30th anniversary celebration, says the ride has been fun. "I get to explore these places, which I would not have been doing otherwise," he says.
