NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula has launched an online venture - Fankind - that curates amazing celebrity experiences for fans, and raises money for a good cause.

Actor Varun Dhawan, who is Arjun's close friend, is already onboard.

The 32-year-old actor invited his followers on Twitter to play a game of paintball with him, and spread happiness. Along with the message, he shared a Fankind link asking his fans to make a donation to NGO Manavlok Foundation that supports farmers in Maharashtra.



In another tweet, the fundraising platform stressed on the 'once in a lifetime opportunity' to enjoy a private paintball session with the actor.

As part of a campaign, fans can buy entries for a minimum of Rs 300 and its multiples, which will enable them to become part of a random selection process by a third party. After the donation, Indian citizens will get an 80G tax-exempt certificate from GiveIndia. First 100 people also have a chance of getting a small gift from Fankind.

Other than meeting Dhawan, the winner will get an all-expense-paid travel to Mumbai, and a free stay at an awesome hotel. S/He can get a friend along whose travel and hotel charges will be covered as well.

Moreover, the winner will get a personalised, autographed merchandise, selfies with the star, and chance to learn Dhawan's famous dance moves.


"The severe water crisis in Maharashtra has affected farmers the most. The prolonged drought has resulted in a loss of agricultural livelihood. Which is why the funds we raise through this first Fankind experience will support Manavlok Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that works with farmers and provides them with resources such as irrigation systems, fertilisers, seeds, saplings and new training," Varun said in a statement.

The "Main Tera Hero" actor added that the donations will be used towards their "horticulture project to help farmers supplement their existing income by cultivating non-traditional crops that are suited for the local land and can survive the drought."

Excited about her first campaign, Anshula said: "This campaign will help Manavlok Foundation in doing good work without having to stress out about raising funds."

The campaign will be live from August 5.
