Playing catch-up! When Parth Jindal ran the half-marathon in Mumbai
Show up pre-dawn at the take-off point for the Mumbai Marathon and any doubts you ever harboured about the city’s commitment to running will be assuaged. The number of runners gathered for the marathon has been rising steadily over the past few years. Adding to the head count this year was Parth Jindal, son of industrialist Sajjan Jindal.

Jindal senior is a committed runner himself, and stepping into his father’s shoes, Parth ran the half-marathon this year. This wasn’t his first time at the marathon though. He has participated a couple of times in the past. This year, he managed to finish the run in 105 minutes.

Sadly, he missed his target finish time of 100 minutes by just five minutes. Well, there’s always a next time, or another marathon.
