PeeCee, Nick extend a helping hand, donate an undisclosed amount for Bihar, Assam floods
Chopra said the state of Assam has been "devastated" by floods.

The 38-year-old actor said the couple has also supported relief work in Bihar, where a total of 24.42 lakh people have been hit by floods across 11 districts in the state.
The Indian states of Assam and Bihar have been devastated by the floods and are facing the dual challenge of battling coronavirus and rising water levels. Bollywood actress-turned-global superstar, Priyanka Chopra and her husband, popsinger Nick Jonas have stepped up to do their bit and help the people of Assam and Bihar.
Chopra, who has served as the ambassador for Assam from 2016 to 2019, said the state has been "devastated" by the floods.
"The rapidly rising water level has also flooded the Kaziranga National Park, one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. They need our attention and support. I'm sharing details of a few credible organisations that are doing some good work on the ground in Assam."

PeeCee took to Instagram to address Bihar floods. In an Instagram story, Chopra wrote that Bihar continues to battle 'major flooding'.

"Much like Assam, millions of people have been affected and many have been displaced as their homes were washed away in the deluge. As they grapple with this devastation, they need all the help that we can provide."

Chopra has made a name for herself as a tech investor, but our very own ‘Desi Girl’ is particularly interested in companies working for social welfare and the ones that have been founded by women. As per Diversity Woman, one of PeeCee’s first investments is in Holberton School, a school that teaches software coding. Chopra will serve on the school’s board of advisors.
Chopra has also invested in Bumble, a dating and social media app developed by another woman entrepreneur in tech, Whitney Wolfe Herd.
In September 2019, Bumble had announced a $5,000 grant for women entrepreneurs.
