Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma goes to meet UP CM Akhilesh Yadav ... in a rickshaw!

Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma on Thursday dropped by at 5, Vikramaditya Marg, in Lucknow. His mission: to collect Uttar Pradesh's top state award, Yash Bharti, from the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Nothing unusual about this.

Except that the Paytm top boss took a rickshaw to reach the destination.

Anticipating heavy traffic and subsequent delay, this CEO hopped onto a rickshaw, instead of waiting around. Vehicular traffic within Lucknow during the day is quite heavy, leading to bottlenecks and snarls.

The Chief Minister, meanwhile, tweeted a picture. With elections just months away, he also mentioned that the construction of the Lucknow Metro will help solve traffic problems in the city.
