Pawan Kalyan's ex-wife Renuka Desai hits back at trolls, says politician-actor was the one who ended their marriage

Pawan Kalyan’s former wife Renuka Desai has set the record straight about her divorce from the actor-turned-politician. Desai who parted ways with the ‘Gabbar Singh’ star over a decade ago, is often subjected to trolls, many of whom are avowed Pawan Kalyan fans. These trolls often tend to shift the blame on Desai for their short-lived marriage.

However, it seems that Desai has had enough. On Instagram, one such fan suggested that she should have paid more attention to her marriage with the Vakeel Saab star. The comment when translated to English, reads, "Sister-in-law, if you had been a bit more patient for a few years, it would have been better. You married a god-like man and left without understanding his true nature. But today, you have realized his value. Anyway, destiny decides everything. Today, it's enough that the children are with their father and sister-in-law. We are missing you, sister-in-law."

Desai finally snapped and wrote that it was Kalyan and not her who called it quits in 2012. She pinned the comment and requested the commentator to steer clear of false and hurtful assumptions. Tagging the commentator, she wrote, "@sudhakarvictory, if you had even a little bit of sense, you wouldn't say such things... Even though he left and married someone else. Not me. Please stop torturing me with comments like this." Later, Renuka deleted the reply and disabled the comment section.


Desai, who hails from a Marathi family was briefly active in Tollywood from 2000 to 2003. She was married to Kalyan for three years 2009 to 2012. They share a son named Akira and a daughter named Aadhya. She acted opposite her ex-husband in two movies ‘Badri’ and ‘Johnny’.

Kalyan married for the third time in 2011. His third wife Anna Lezhneva is a Russian citizen. They have two kids, a daughter named Polena Anjana Pawanova and a son Mark Shankar Pawanovich
