The film which is touted to be SRK's comeback after a long hiatus, also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham .
The teaser of SRK’s long-awaited comeback film ‘Pathaan’ was released on the superstar’s 57th birthday on November 2. Many fans were blown away by Khan’s no-nonsense avatar and gravity-defying action sequences and lauded it as “a masterpiece’’. However the teaser also received its fair share of detractors. Many netizens found the VFX (visual-effects) of the movie sub-par.
In a particular scene SRK is seen flying with the help of a jetpack. Unfortunately as the focus on the scene is in the ground, Khan appears a bit blurry and the scene looks raw and unfinished. Some netizens were quick to point out this flaw. Some compared Pathaan's unsatisfactory VFX with the visual effects of the Prabhas -Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ which was also trolled heavily for poor quality VFX. One Twitter user wrote, “Teaser was around 1 minute long and if the makers can’t show good vfx scenes in those 60 seconds what will they show in a 2+ hour film?”
